Ticket Policy

Purchases

Season, individual, and group ticket purchases may be made securely online, by phone, or in person at HIllbarn Theatre & Conservatory (at 1285 East Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City CA 94404). Hillbarn Theatre accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards.
Refunds Tickets and enrollment are non-refundable, and no credits will be issued for unused tickets, whether they were purchased individually or as part of a subscription or group package. You may however convert your unused tickets and enrollment into a tax-deductible donation.

Discounts

Discount codes must be entered at the time of purchase. Discounts cannot be applied to tickets that have already been purchased. Group discounts can be applied only at the time of purchase. Tickets added to a group sale do qualify for group discounts. Sales, promotional, and other discounts cannot be combined.

Payment for Reservations

Tickets will not be reserved without payment. In order to reserve seats, tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase.

Receipt of Tickets

Purchased tickets can be printed at home, picked up at Will Call, or presented on your mobile device. Purchased tickets are available under the customer’s name for pick up at Will Call within 1 hour of performance time.

Ticket Exchanges

Season Ticket Holders may exchange tickets with no service charges. For individual ticket purchases – a $2.50 charge will apply to each ticket exchanged. Tickets may be only be exchanged for a different performance time of the same show based on availability.

Assigned Seating

All seating is assigned. Your seat number can be found on your ticket. Handicapped & companion seats are available for all performances. Customers requiring special seating consideration due to a medical condition should notify the box office staff when purchasing tickets.

Arrival Time

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled performance time. The theater will be opened for seating by the House Manager approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain. Latecomers will be seated completely at the discretion of the House Manager at the first appropriate break that allows for the least disruption for the actors and audience. Tickets that are not redeemed when the show begins may be released for resale at the discretion of the box office staff and house manager.

Show Cancellations

Performance cancellations due to extenuating circumstances are very rare. When a performance must be canceled, we will make every attempt to contact you to make arrangements for an alternate date. Please note: Hillbarn Theatre & Conservatory does not offer refunds when a performance has taken place regardless of the circumstances.

Show Title Changes

Season titles are subject to change. On very rare occasions, Hillbarn Theatre & Conservatory may change a show(s) that is being produced. Hillbarn will always substitute a show that is comparable to the show being substituted. We will contact ticket holders and inform them as soon as possible. Please note: Hillbarn Theatre does not offer refunds for tickets to a title that is changed, regardless of the circumstances.

Food & Beverage

Food & Beverages purchased from our concessions bar are permitted in our lobby and theaters with the approved Hillbarn Drink Cup.

Conservatory Enrollment and Camp

To cancel a Conservatory class you must do so in person at the Box Office or via email (a time and date stamped email from you to us). Unfortunately, you may not cancel by phone. These policies are non-negotiable.

We do not offer refunds on Fall/Winter/Spring Classes. If your child is unable to participate, we can offer class credit, but no refunds are available.

SummerStage Cancellation Policy: If your child(ren) is unable to participate in SummerStage after they have been enrolled, we are able to offer refunds in the following manner:
• Before April 15, 2020– Full refund less $50 (processing fee/hold spot fee)
• After April 15, 2020 – 50% refund
• 3 weeks prior to enrolled camp start date – No refunds.

Cancellation after the first week of a program has passed no tuition is refunded under any circumstance.

Please understand we structure our programs and hire teachers according to early enrollment. Last minute cancellations cost the company time, money and often deprive another child of the opportunity to participate in a conservatory class or camp that was assumed to be filled. Once a camp has begun, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
