Welcome to the Cornley Drama Society’s opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor—a classic whodunit where, unfortunately, everything that can go wrong does. Misplaced props, collapsing sets, forgotten lines, and hilariously clumsy actors turn this murder mystery into a full-blown theatrical disaster. As the determined (but hapless) cast and crew struggle to make it to the final curtain, the chaos only escalates, leaving audiences in stitches. With its perfectly timed physical comedy and nonstop mishaps, The Play That Goes Wrong is a side-splitting tribute to the magic of live theater—when everything goes spectacularly, hysterically wrong.

Andrew (he/him) previously performed at Hillbarn Theatre as Nigel Bottom in Something Rotten! and Sam Byck in Assassins. He regularly performs around the Bay Area, with recent theatre credits including Henry in Next to Normal (Ray of Light), Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys (Palo Alto Players), Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Foothill Music Theatre), Bobby Strong in Urinetown (South Bay Musical Theatre), and Buddy in Elf (Los Altos Stage Company).

Paul (he/him) is overjoyed to be back on the West Coast at Hillbarn Theatre, where he was last seen as Billy in Once. Based in NYC, he most recently appeared in It’s a Wonderful Life: Radio Play at Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. His regional credits include Berkeley Rep, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, PCPA, Oregon Cabaret Theatre and others. He is a graduate of CSU, Fresno and PCPA. IG: @paulhenry085
Fred (he/him) is happy to be back at Hillbarn where played Max in Dial M for Murder 16 years ago. Bay Area credits include The Book of Will (Henry) at Ross Valley Players, Choir Boy (Headmaster) at ShotgunPlayers, Clyde’s (Montrellous) at City Lights Theatre and A Soldier’s Play (Sgt. Waters) at Altarena Playhouse. He also has a solo entitled Aren’t You…? which ran for a few years at several theaters in and outside of the Bay. IG: @frdpttsjr
River (they/them) is thrilled to return to Hillbarn’s booth AND stage! They are a multi-disciplinary theatre artist with credits from around the Bay, including Presidio Theatre’s Peter Pan (Tock the Croc), Crowded Fire Theatre’s limp wrist on the lever (Charli), and SF Playhouse’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (u/s Voice 3 and 5). Recent production work includes Oakland Theatre Project’s Cabaret (Assistant Choreographer) and The Laramie Project at Theatre Rhinoceros (co-director w/Elio Amador). IG: @_riverberate_
Lucy (she/her) is thrilled to be in her first Hillbarn production! Most recently she was seen as Celeste #1/Billy Webster in Sunday in the Park with George at Shotgun Players. Other recent productions include The Play That Goes Wrong at San Francisco Playhouse, Jesus Christ Superstar at Berkeley Playhouse, The Importance of Being Earnest at B8 Theatre Company and Merry Wives of Windsor at SPARC. Vivienne (she/her) is ecstatic to make her debut at Hillbarn! Being an assistant stage manager seems to be her typecast as this is her second time playing Annie in The Play That Goes Wrong (San Jose Stage Company) and she’s also played Poppy (u/s Brooke) in Noises Off, twice (SF Playhouse, The Pear Theatre). She performs across the Bay Area, works at Red Ladder Theatre Company, and is a producer at More Más Marami Arts. IG: @viviennasausage
Ted (he/him) has appeared with Hillbarn as Charles Guiteau in Sondheim’s Assassins and received a BATCC nomination for Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville. Other credits include: San Francisco Playhouse (Indecent, Into the Woods), 42nd Street Moon (She Loves Me, Titanic, Scrooge in Love), Ray of Light Theatre (Into the Woods, Yeast Nation), Town Hall Theatre (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Custom Made Theatre (Middletown), West Edge Opera (Ulysses), and two years in a van touring school throughout California with San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Brigitte (she/hers) is a native Bay Area actress and theatre maker. When Brigitte is not on the stage she is taking your calls managing the Hillbarn Box office. Brigitte Is very excited to be back performing on the Hillbarn stage with such an incredible wealth of bay area talent. Some past roles include Ensemble/swing in Kinky Boots (ROLT), Kelly Manning in The Mad Ones & Heather Chandler in Heathers (PSP), Ali in Mamma Mia (San Jose Stage Co), Poppy in Noises Off (Hillbarn Theatre), Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods (LASC).
