More than a dance class, Movement II challenges teen artists to become more intentional, expressive, and confident physical storytellers.

Students build strength, coordination, body awareness, spatial awareness, and movement technique while exploring choreography, physical characterization, and different styles of theatrical movement. Depending on the semester’s focus, students may also explore disciplines such as stage combat, clowning, Viewpoints, or other specialized physical techniques.

As students advance, they’ll work toward learning and retaining choreography more quickly, adapting to different styles, maintaining strong technique under pressure, and approaching movement with the focus and discipline expected in rehearsals and auditions.
