Acting II is for teen artists ready to dig deeper into the craft of acting. Through scene work, monologues, improvisation, script analysis, and audition material, students explore objectives and tactics, subtext, stakes, relationships, emotional truth, character development, and a variety of theatrical styles.

Voice and speech training are an important part of the work. Students develop breath support, projection, resonance, diction, articulation, and vocal flexibility while learning how intentional vocal and physical choices create more truthful, specific performances.

As students progress, they’re expected to take greater ownership of their work—preparing material independently, applying notes, contributing thoughtfully to the rehearsal room, and developing the skills and discipline expected of serious young artists.
