Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite is a witty and heartfelt comedy in three acts, each set in the same luxurious hotel suite, where three different couples face life’s unexpected twists. A long-married couple attempts to rekindle their romance but finds themselves at odds with time and each other. A fast-talking Hollywood producer tries to lure his old flame into an affair, blurring nostalgia with reality. And on a chaotic wedding day, frantic parents do everything they can to coax their panicked bride out of the bathroom. Filled with Simon’s sharp humor and keen observations on love and marriage, Plaza Suite is a delightful exploration of relationships in all their messy, marvelous glory.

Jessie (she/her) is delighted for her debut at Hillbarn Theatre. She has performed with Pacific Conservatory Theatre in Lucky Stiff (Solicitor) and puppeteered in Beauty and the Beast. Additional credits include Dance Nation (Swing) at URHere Theatre, Emperor’s New Clothes (Hatter) at Santa Maria Civic Theatre, and numerous appearances at Fresno City College. She is a recent graduate of PCPA’s two year acting conservatory and is a board member for URHere Theatre.

Will (he/him) is thrilled to be making his Hillbarn debut! Other regional credits include Sweat (Jason) at Palo Alto Players, In Love and Warcraft (Male Ensemble) at City Lights Theatre Company, The Thanksgiving Play (Jaxton) at Altarena Playhouse, and Heroes of the Fourth Turning (Justin) at Los Altos Stage. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, he holds degrees in Drama and Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Will is a Bay Area Based Actor, Fight Choreographer and Director Previously at Hillbarn: Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher. Recent Film Credits: Circle of Stone (from Academy Award Winner Mark Andrews) and Drive all Night (dir. Peter Hsieh). Bay Area World Premieres: Luis Valdez’ Adios Mama Carlotta (Maximillian), Scrooge in Love (Christmas Present), Persuasion (Captain Wentworth) Will teaches Theatre at Diablo Valley College and West Valley College. Mauricio (he/him) is excited to be working at Hillbarn again where he previously appeared in Anastasia (Sergei/Ensemble), and Something Rotten (Francis/ Flute/Ensemble). Laura Jane (she/her) performed at Hillbarn Theatre 20 years ago in Einstein and The Polar Bear (Helen) when she was awarded Best Featured Actress at the Subscriber Awards. Bay Area productions include Aurora Theatre, Capital Stage in Sacramento, City Lights, Crowded Fire, Impact (BATCC Award for Best Featured Actress), SF Playhouse and Theatreworks. She is an awarding winning writer/solo performer for THE PARIS EFFECT and SUPER SECRET SUPERPOWER. Most recently Laura Jane was the Executive Producer on the film This Is Book Club.
