No Script Required:

An Introduction to Improv

8-Week Class | Adults 18+
Sundays | 9am – 11am | Starting Oct. 18
$275

Whether you’ve always wanted to try improv, you’re an actor looking to sharpen your instincts, or you just want to spend a couple of hours doing something creative and fun, this class is a great place to start.

Over eight weeks, students will learn the fundamentals of improvisation through games, exercises, and scene work. We’ll begin with the building blocks of improv—listening, responding in the moment, and the essential “Yes, and…”—then explore relationships, character, scene structure, short-form games, and longer-form scenes.

No improv experience is required. The emphasis is on getting out of your head, trusting your impulses, supporting your scene partners, and becoming more comfortable making bold choices without knowing exactly what comes next. For actors, those skills translate directly to scripted work and auditions. For everyone else? They’re a pretty terrific excuse to tap into your creativity and PLAY!!
