Hillbarn Theatre is an intimate 179 seat house with raked seating. Here at Hillbarn we say, “every seat is a great seat!” If you have trouble going up stairs or require ADA seating we recommend selecting tickets in the first row, or contacting the box office to secure our reserved ADA compliant seating.

Where do I park?

We have ample free parking located behind our theatre. We have limited handicap parking so please arrive early to secure your spot if need be.

What if I miss my show?

If you miss the show you can contact the box office to exchange your tickets for another date. If you do not wish to attend the show, your tickets will be turned into a donation towards the theatre.

Can my tickets be refunded?

No, all sales are final. If you cannot attend a performance and wish to donate your tickets back to the theatre, please call the box office (650) 349-6411. In the event that a performance is canceled and unable to be re-scheduled, the box office will contact you regarding refund options.

No cameras or recording devices are allowed in the theatre and all cell phones must be turned off during the performance.

Do I need to wear a mask to the Theatre?

In accordance with our covid policy and our agreement with The Actors Equity Association all patrons, staff, volunteers, and crew members are required to wear a mask while in the building. If you would like to take a break from wearing your mask we invite you to relax out on the patio.

Are there concessions for sale in the Theatre? Can I eat in the Theatre?

Concessions are for sale in the lobby and can be consumed out on the patio before the show and during intermission. No food or drink is allowed in the theatre.

I’m running late, can I still watch the show?

Latecomers will be seated at the house manager’s discretion. This might mean you will be asked to sit in the closest available open seat until intermission so as not to disturb other guests watching the show. If you are unable to attend the show, please contact the Box Office to reschedule or donate your tickets.

How old does my child have to be to attend a performance?

We kindly ask that children under 5 stay at home.
