Daisy is a compelling and provocative drama that delves into the power of media and the impact of political advertising. Set during the 1964 U.S. presidential campaign, the play centers around the creation of the infamous “Daisy” television ad, which forever changed the landscape of political marketing. Through the eyes of a talented ad team, the story explores themes of manipulation, fear, and the quest for power. With its sharp dialogue and intense performances, Daisy offers a riveting exploration of how media can shape public perception and the course of history, making it a thought-provoking experience for contemporary audiences.

Michael (he/him) is thrilled to be returning to Hillbarn after last being seen as Watson in Baskerville. Notable credits include Hercule Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express (Palo Alto Players), Ned in People Where They Are (SJ Stage), Davide in In Every Generation (TheatreWorks), and Torvald in Doll’s House Pt. 2 (Palo Alto Players), for which he won a Bay Area Theatre Critics Award. Glenn (he/him) is making his first appearance with Hillbarn. He appeared in nine shows with Marin Shakespeare Company and played Jaques in their 25th Anniversary production of As You Like It. With The Curtain Theatre, he played Toby Belch, Friar Laurence, and Nick Bottom. Last summer, he directed Much Ado About Nothing for Actors Ensemble of Berkeley. He founded two San Francisco companies, the Free Civic Theater and the Theater of Others, staging fifty productions from 2000-2019.
Keenan (he/they) is celebrating his first performance with Hillbarn Theater. His most recent credits include understudying Tiger Style (Russ the Buss, etc) at TheaterWorks Silicon Valley, Picasso at the Lapine Agile (Einstein) at Los Altos Stage Company, and The Thanksgiving Play (Jaxton) at City Lights Theater Company. In addition to acting, Keenan is an accomplished poet and ceramic artist.
George (he/him) is thrilled to make his Hillbarn return in Daisy. He was most recently seen by Hillbarn audiences as Sherlock Holmes In Baskerville! City Lights: Blithe Spirit, Silent Sky, Ideation, The Elephant Man, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Amadeus. San Jose Stage: The Humans, Between Riverside and Crazy. Terrance (he/him) is trilled join this spectacular cast and crew for his first production at Hillbarn. He has performed in theatres all across the Bay Area, including: SF Playhouse, Marin Shakes, Town Hall Theatre, African-American Shakes, SPARC Theatre, The Lorraine Hansberry Theatre Company and others. He’s toured nationally and performed overseas. He also voices DJ Train Trax on the Netflix Cartoon Go Go Cory Carson.

Brigitte (she/hers) is a native Bay Area actress and theatre maker. When Brigitte is not on the stage she is taking your calls managing the Hillbarn Box office. Brigitte Is very excited to be back performing on the Hillbarn stage with such an incredible wealth of bay area talent. Some past roles include Ensemble/swing in Kinky Boots (ROLT), Kelly Manning in The Mad Ones & Heather Chandler in Heathers (PSP), Ali in Mamma Mia (San Jose Stage Co), Poppy in Noises Off (Hillbarn Theatre), Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods (LASC).
