Christine Baker

Ensemble

Christine Baker (she/her) is a Bay Area dancer & instructor originally from Des Moines, Iowa. Favorite Hillbarn credits include The Producers (Usherette/Ensemble), Cabaret (Helga), West Side Story (Jet Girl), and Funny Girl (ensemble). Other theatre credits include Sister Act (BBBay) and On the Town (SBMT). Choreography credits include Big Fish at SCP. Caitlin (she/her) is thrilled to be back on stage after a 5 year hiatus! Last seen as Reno Sweeney in Hillbarn’s production of Anything Goes, she took time off to pop out a kid and wait out a global pandemic. Other roles Caitlin has loved portraying are Mary in Mary Poppins, Diana in Next to Normal (BBBay) Rona in Spelling Bee and Amneris is Aida (BBBay). HUGE thank you to her husband, Richie, for holding down the fort at home so she can sing and dance again.

Mauricio Suarez

Mauricio (he/him) is incredibly excited to make his Hillbarn debut! A Bay Area native, his notable roles include Beadle Bamford (Sweeney Todd, NTC), Pirelli (Sweeney Todd, CRT), Mercury (Out of This World, PSP), and The Duke/Pedro/Dr. Carrasco (Man of La Mancha, Custom Made). He has also worked backstage and understudied for theatres all over the bay, including TheatreWorks, SF Playhouse, and Berkeley Rep. Para mi familia, encantate con todo mi corazon.

Melissa (she/her) is thrilled to be back on the Hillbarn stage where she previously appeared as Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Fanny Brice in Funny Girl! Recent credits: Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Val in A Chorus Line (both SF Playhouse), the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods (Mountain Play) and Mary in Merrily We Roll Along (42nd Street Moon). Up next: Being Alive at Theatreworks and back at Hillbarn as Patsy in Always…Patsy Cline.

Brigitte (she/hers)  is a native Bay Area actress and theatre maker. When Brigitte is not on the stage she is taking your calls managing the Hillbarn Box office. Brigitte Is very excited to be back performing on the Hillbarn stage with such an incredible wealth of bay area talent.
