Covid Information
As of May 11th, following the end of the national public health emergency for coronavirus,
we will be adjusting our masking policy for the 2023 SummerStage Season:
Masks for students are now OPTIONAL for all SummerStage Programs of 2023. Students will still be required to take a rapid test before tech week
Audiences will still be required to wear masks to attend performances. (subject to change)
Do you offer financial aid/scholarships?
We have a limited number of needs-based financial aid scholarships available for all of our programing. Learn more about financial aid by reaching out to our Conservatory Director, Adrienne, at adriennewalters@hillbarntheatre.org
Do you pro-rate classes?
We do not pro-rate any classes or programs.
I enrolled my child for a class, camp or production but it says I purchased a “ticket”, did I enroll incorrectly?
Congrats! You successfully enrolled your child. The software we use for classes, camps, etc. is the same software we use in the box office for ticket purchases. So don’t be worried about the word “ticket”, you’re enrolled!
I’ve registered my child for class but there was nowhere to put their name, what do I do now?
Once you have registered for a class, camp or production you will receive a welcome packet full of information and paperwork to complete before the first day of class. Packets traditionally go out about two weeks before the program’s start date, and that is where we will gather all the information about your student.
Where do your classes take place?
Classes, workshops and production rehearsal will all take place at Hillbarn Theatre unless otherwise specified.
My child is going to be late/absent from class/camp/rehearsal. Who should I contact?
Email: adriennewalters@hillbarntheatre.org or call (650) 349-6411 ext. 307 and she will contact the instructor/director.
Do you have a refund policy?
Reimbursement Conservatory Cancellation Policy: All Sales are Final. If your child is unable to participate, we can offer the value as credit on your account.
SummerStage Cancellation Policy: If your child(ren) is unable to participate in SummerStage after they have been enrolled, we are able to offer a full refund on or before April 15th, minus a $50 processing fee/hold spot fee. After April 15th, the enrollment reservation returns to the standard cancellation policy.
Please understand we structure our programs and hire teachers according to enrollment. Once a camp has begun, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
*We know that sometimes things come up that are emergencies that can’t be controlled, so we reserve the right to waive the cancellation policy pending circumstances.*
