We do have a limited number of needs-based financial aid scholarships available for all of our programing. Learn more about financial aid by calling the box office or fill out our financial aid packet.
We do not pro-rate any classes or programs.
I enrolled my child for a class, camp or production but it says I purchased a “ticket”, did I enroll incorrectly?
Congrats! You successfully enrolled your child. The software we use for classes, camps, etc. is the same software we use in the box office for ticket purchases. So don’t be worried about the word “ticket”, you’re enrolled!
Once you have registered for a class, camp or production you will receive a welcome packet full of information and paperwork to complete before the first day of class. Packets traditionally go out about two weeks before the program’s start date, and that is where we will gather all the information about your student.
Classes, workshops and production rehearsal will all take place at Hillbarn Theatre unless otherwise specified.
Email: Randyohara@hillbarntheatre.org or call (650) 349-6411 x307 and he will contact the instructor/directors.
Something come up? It happens to all of us. To cancel a Conservatory class you must do so in person at the Box Office or via email (a time and date stamped email from you to us). Unfortunately, you may not cancel by phone. These policies are non-negotiable.
Reimbursement Conservatory Cancellation Policy: We do not offer refunds on Fall/Winter/Spring Classes. If your child is unable to participate, we can offer class credit, but no refunds are available.
SummerStage Cancellation Policy: If your child(ren) is unable to participate in SummerStage after they have been enrolled, we are able to offer refunds in the following manner:
- Before April 15– Full refund less $50 (processing fee/hold spot fee)
- After April 15 – 50% refund
- 3 weeks prior to enrolled camp start date – No refunds.
- Cancellation after the first week of a program has passed and you cancel, no tuition is refunded under any circumstance.
Please understand we structure our programs and hire teachers according to early enrollment. Last minute cancellations cost the company time and money and often deprive another child of the opportunity to participate in a conservatory class or camp that was assumed to be filled. Once a camp has begun, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We know that sometimes things come up that are emergencies that can’t be controlled, so we reserve the right to waive the formality of the cancellation policy depending on circumstances.
