Hillbarn Theatre

BRAVO! 2011 will be a swinging evening of spirits, food, and song. We start off the evening with cocktails and photos with “Elvis,” a silent auction, a buffet dinner, a brief award ceremony, and then ending with an exciting show, “Viva Las Vegas!” This one-hour original musical/narrative show will chronicle the life and times of the most favorite Las Vegas Singers. The swinging band will feature well-known vocal talent, the one and only Bobby Vickers (aka Bud E. Luv, Sammy Davis, Jr., Frank Sinatra, Wayne Newton etc.) under the direction of our very own Resident Musical Director Mr. Greg Sudmeier.

Proceeds from the evening go to support the continuing efforts of Hillbarn Theatre and the Hillbarn Theatre Youth Conservatory; it is our largest and most important fundraiser.

This year, BRAVO! will be honoring one of our community’s important Arts advocates:

Lester has served as Hillborough's Crocker Middle School music and band teacher for the past 30 years (he began his teaching career at Bowditch Middle School in Foster City). Lester’s dedication and love of the Arts has transformed and inspired many young lives. We look forward to honoring his work in the community.

Hillbarn Theatre is pleased to introduce you to BRAVO! Since 1989, Hillbarn Theatre annually honors a leading figure in the artistic and cultural life of San Mateo County. On November 15, 2011 we will be holding our 23th annual BRAVO! Awards ceremony.

BRAVO!, our largest annual fundraising event, facilitates our raising additional revenue in order to forward our programs of educating children and adolescents (ages 4-18) in the performing arts through our Conservatory and of mounting six MainStage productions (including musicals and dramas).
