Max Bialystock (baritone) Late 40’s-60’s. Down and out producer that has never had a hit. Manipulates, con-man who gets money for his shows. Gruff and insincere. Blowhard.
Leo Bloom (baritone-tenor) Late 20’s – mid 30’s. Neurotic accountant turned producer. Shy, weak, innocent, with no Confidence within himself.
Franz Liebkind (baritone) Playwright. A supporter of the Nazi party with not all the ‘rows in the water’. Emphatic about supporting Hitler.
Roger DeBris (baritone-tenor) Stage director. ‘over the top’ in personality. Egotistical and flamboyant. “ In charge” type. Tries to be artistic.
Carmen Ghia (tenor) Roger’s ‘friend’. Prissy in manner. Lives in a fantasy. In love with Roger.
Ulla Inga Hansen Benson Younsen Tallen-Hallen Svaden Svanson (soprano-belt) Late 20’s-mid 30’s. Dynamite looking woman with a great body. Actress and Swedish. Must sing and dance well.

Bryon – Set designer for Roger. Must sing and move well.

Scott – tenor - Choreographer for Roger. Must sing and move well.
Mr. Marks
CPA. Supervisor at Whitehall & Marks Accounting Firm. Power hungry. “In Charge” personality. Cold in manner. Belittles everyone.
Sargent
Late 40’s – 50’s. Typical New York policeman. In charge of the raid.
O’Rourke
Late 30’s. Irish policeman. Typical cop in New York.
O’Riley
20’s-30‘s. Irish policeman. Typical cop in New York.
O’Houllihan
20’s – 30’s. Black Irish policeman. Typical cop in New York.
Judge
Late 50’s-60’s. Supreme Court type person. Upholds the law.

Late 70’s-80’s. Wealthy and gives money for ‘favors’ from Max
