About the play: Based on the infamous 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial, INHERIT THE WIND follows the trial of a High School Science teacher who has been arrested for reading Darwin’s Origin of the Species to his class. As the tiny, obscure town of Hillsboro hosts the trial of the century, what happens on stage evolves into one of the greatest courtroom dramas in theatre history.
